Who?
What? Why? My
name is Nick Baker, my shop is in Seattle's Maple Leaf neighborhood
(not Canada). I have been printing shirts for 15 years. I can
offer you personal, individualized customer service to make
sure that your print job is done to your total satisfaction.
I
have a six color professional silkscreen press complete with
everything that you would find at any large print shop. Prices
are low because I have kept my operation relatively small and
have low overhead costs. In addition, I can offer more personal
and hopefully better service than a larger company might offer.
I
can do both small and large orders and will work with you and
your design to make you a great shirt. If another shop has told
you that your job isn't worth their time CALL ME!

Shirt
pricing varies depending on the style of the shirt quantity,
color, and size. Generally dark colored T-shirts cost more per
shirt than white or light colors and oversized XXL and larger
also cost more. There are price breaks on blank shirts at full
dozens and at 72 pieces. (This counts as case pricing)

Artwork
Initial
setup is $25 for the first screen, and $20 for each addtional screen needed to print the job. Repeat jobs (the same artwork) setup $15 per screen.
The
best way to get your artwork to us is as an attachment via email. Most
digital file formats will work (pdf, jpg, tif, eps, psd) Files should
be at least 300 dpi (no compressed web .jpg or .gif files) at 100% size
that you want printed. We can also work with a clean hard copy of the
artwork. Color or black and white logos, text, and line art work well. For
shirts where there is mainly text you can send a Word document or
similar, there is no need to try to convert your file to an image.
Color photographs generally do not make good screen prints.
Printing
on dark shirts may require a base print to make the design stand
out on the shirt. Graphics

Free Fonts
Here are some free font sites for making text for your design.
If you find a font that you like, attach the P.C. version of it along
with the text for your shirt to your email.
Ink Colors
We have a wide variety of colors in stock, Union Ink has a Color Chart that you can reference.
We can use PMS or Pantone reference numbers to custom color match your logo or suit your specific design.
Specialty inks are also available: shimmer, puff, glow-in-the-dark, sun change, etc. (special order may be required)

Service
Turn
around time is usually 1 week from the time your order is finalized.
This includes quantity and styles of shirt, final artwork approval,
and payment approval. Shipping time is additional and will vary
depending on your location.
High
Quality
We
use all Newman Roller Frame
Screens. These re-tensionable frames
allow for higher screen tensions than wood and glue screens,
and they do not warp. This allows for more accurate stencils
and registration on the shirt. A better screen means a better
print. Different screen meshes from 80 to over 300 threads per
inch allow for printing different ink types and levels of detail
in the artwork.
We
have a Hopkins 6 color press.
This is a professional model manual T-shirt printing machine
with micro-adjustable registration, accurate enough to do even
CMYK process printing. We use all plastisol
inks which are heat cured on the garment for a permanent print
without fading or washing out.
Payment
Payment
for orders is 50% up front. The balance is due on delivery.
